Review of the Season
Won the Saturday League, early exit in Saturday Cup, entered inaugural HK Sevens tournament, HKU Sixes, HKU Tri-Tournament, HKCC Sixes, Chiang Mai Sixes & Summer Eights.

Financial Position
Balance of accounts show we have nearly $60,000 in the bank.
Outstanding amounts from Alex Fraser ($1,350), MTM ($750), Barco ($750), Ian ($600)

Sponsorship
Island Bar, Alex Fraser & OME
Possibility of Carlsberg — currently in negotiation.

Costs
Registration ($2,625), Pitch Fees ($8,500), One dozen balls ($1,980), Clothing (approx $12,500).

Clothing
Shirts & trousers currently in production should be ready by end-August. Perhaps produce more caps — no decision.

Equipment
Recommend buying 2 bats, 2 thigh pads & 4 umpire’s counters.
General request to look after the equipment we have invested in.

Membership & Match Fees
Membership will cost $300 for League Members & $200 for Social Members. Membership will give you a shirt, a pair of trousers, a sun hat & a stubby holder. There will also be a reduced charge compared to non-members during tours and other events.
League match fees have been reduced from $140 per match to $100. Social match fees remain the same, as there are charges from outside the auspices of the H.K.C.A.

Club Organisation
ECM’s have been few this season due to the steady and general smooth running of the Club. Would like to see more social events organised by any volunteer(s).

Net Practice
The KCC on a Monday night and Thursday afternoon will resume. Hard to find a different day or venue bearing in mind net availability and charges.

Competitions
Will naturally be entering the Saturday League and Saturday Cup; Summer Eights, ACST HK Sevens, Shanghai Sixes and Chiang Mai Sixes will also be certainties. If invited, as hoped, we will also enter the HKU Sixes, HKCC Sixes & HKU Tri-Tournament.

Positions
Nominations for positions and acceptance are: Mark Burns, League Captain; Craig Francis, Vice Captain; Ian, Secretary & Social Captain; Daryl, Treasurer; Brad, Chairman and Venkat, Manager.
John Fox was granted our first Honorary Life Member.

Future Tours
Sixes weekend tours to Shanghai in September, Dubai in Feb or March and Chiang Mai in April and a ten-day tour to Nepal over Chinese New Year with 35-over matches should be available during the season.

Trophy Display
To be built in the Island Bar. Display shirt, stubby holder, hat w/England signatures, League Cup, Challenge Trophy, Most Catches & Wicket trophies, contact details, Lamma CC World Champions picture. This will be built through Alex Fraser Limited.

Dinner & Dance
Beginning of November — venue to be confirmed.

Any Other Business
Cricket ground opposite Sok Kwu Wan to look into.
Cricket net at the power station, on the Yung Shue Wan football pitch or nearby on the new reclamation area.
Hope to arrange a catered BBQ on Lamma in September to pass out the Saturday League Champions medals. All players and spouses will be invited.

There were no further points raised and the meeting drew to a close at 9:30pm
